Anna Farmer
"People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, 'Soften the orange a bit on the right-hand corner.' I don't try to control a sunset; I watch with awe as it unfolds." - Carl Rogers
MEET ANNA:
Compassionate, encouraging, empathetic, and understanding, Anna embodies these qualities both in and out of the therapy room. With a profound admiration for Esther Perel's innovative approach to human relationships, she aspires to emulate Perel's ability to challenge societal norms and foster healing connections.
In her therapeutic practice, Anna employs a person-centered approach, prioritizing the creation of a safe and inclusive space for her clients. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, she strives to meet her clients where they are, matching their energy and honoring their unique experiences. With a particular focus on women's mental health, LGBTQIA+ mental health, and trauma-informed therapy, Anna is committed to serving marginalized communities and providing affirming care.

Anna takes immense pride in her journey and remains steadfast in her commitment to personal and professional growth. Drawing from her own experiences of therapeutic transformation, she is driven by a desire to help others uncover their true selves and embrace the fullness of their potential.
When she's not working on her Masters, Anna finds solace in spending time with her beloved corgi, Gromit, exploring the great outdoors through hiking and swimming, or pounding the pavement in preparation for her first marathon. Her five-year tenure as a barista and cafe manager has instilled in her a deep appreciation for the community-building power of a good cup of coffee.
