MEET EMILY:

   Emily’s passion for working with her clients shows through when you meet her grounding and strength based approach to meeting your goals.  When you meet Emily, she integrates an active approach to therapy, while holding space for you to discuss sensitive issues.  She opens her therapy doors to welcome people from all walks of life - including providing culturally competent therapy, LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, and walks alongside her clients with an Ecosystemic structural approach to therapy.  With over a decade of systemic therapeutic experience, Emily has served numerous counties in Pennsylvania to provide comprehensive family based therapy services. 

       The first words that clients use to describe Emily include: compassionate, calm, and pragmatic, while always integrating a feminist and anti-racist lens to therapy.  She remains curious with her clients to help them better understand patterns and investigate the origins from their family and partners and how to create new healthy patterns.  With extensive advanced systemic training, Emily Giorgio has a toolbox of evidence-based clinical interventions to help you make changes in the direction that you want to go.  She has spent years helping clients of all ages move past their trauma history.
