MEET GABBY:

Gabby Baker is a Master’s Candidate Therapist currently attending Penn State Harrisburg to obtain a Master of Arts in Applied Clinical Psychology. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oklahoma State University. Her practice emphasizes a person-centered, strengths-based approach in which individuals are invited to explore their stories in a safe and compassionate environment.

Through authenticity, humor, and warmth, Gabby strives to create a therapeutic environment where individuals can be vulnerable, honest, and process complex emotions without judgement. Her primary interests include working with LGBTQ+ individuals, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, young adults and life transitions, trauma, ADHD, and self-esteem.

She hopes to integrate several evidence-based modalities into her practice to best fit the needs of the individual. These include, but are not limited to, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy.
