MEET GWEN:

     Gwen Burns (they/them) is a Licensed Social Worker who brings warmth, empathy, and genuine care to their therapeutic work. A graduate of Shippensburg University with a Master’s in Social Work, Gwen is passionate about helping individuals and families heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths. Above all, Gwen honors the uniqueness of each person’s story and walks alongside their clients as they reconnect with their own inner strength and sense of self.

Gwen is trained in EMDR Trauma Therapy  (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and regularly integrates EMDR techniques to help clients process overwhelming or traumatic experiences. Gwen is also trained in Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) through Parts 1, 2, and Advanced training with Dr. Suzanne Levy, using ABFT to support families in moving from disconnection and conflict toward deeper emotional connection, understanding, and support.
