"Design a life you love."
MEET NEINA:
Neina Langford (pronounced Nina), is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Rosemont College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Kutztown University and an Associate degree from Community College of Philadelphia. Before entering the mental health field, Neina built a career in hospitality, marketing, and public relations, work centered on creating experiences and bringing people together. That journey ultimately inspired a career change: after years of helping create experiences for others, Neina realized she wanted to help people explore what they want their own lives to look like and support them as they work to create that reality for themselves.
Neina brings a warm, curious, direct, and nonjudgmental presence to the therapy room. Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based, taking time to understand not just what a client is experiencing, but the relationships, experiences, identities, and expectations that shaped how they got there. Together, she and her clients explore what they may want to change, what they may need to accept, and what moving forward could look like. She is particularly interested in working with adults navigating anxiety and stress, depression, self-esteem, identity, relationships and intimacy, life transitions, sexuality, substance use, and career concerns, along with a strong interest in men's mental health, gender roles, and masculinity. Her background in sociology fuels her curiosity about how social expectations and lived experience shape identity.

As part of her clinical training, Neina completed her practicum at Malvern Treatment Centers, working predominantly with adult men in residential substance use treatment through individual and group counseling. Her clinical perspective has been shaped by The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, as well as sociologist Michael Kimmel's work on gender and masculinity.
Outside the therapy room, Neina enjoys reading a great mystery, cooking, and exploring local restaurants — carrying her love of hospitality and connection into her work as a counselor. At the heart of her approach is the belief that there is no single version of what a fulfilling life should look like: therapy can be a place to better understand yourself and build a life that feels authentic to who you are.
