MEET TAYLOR:

     Taylor Hlavacek is committed to guiding individuals on their journey towards healing and personal growth. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by joviality, empathy, and authenticity, creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts and emotions. 

     Guided by the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Taylor empowers clients to challenge negative thought patterns and embrace personal growth. With a diverse range of interests and experiences, Taylor specializes in areas including career counseling, women's and men's mental health, elderly and veteran mental health, prenatal and postpartum counseling, as well as spiritual and LGBTQ+ counseling.

  • From a young age, Taylor's innate empathy and communication skills foreshadowed a future in therapy, fueled by a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. With a compassionate heart and a commitment to continuous learning, Taylor walks alongside clients, fostering resilience, authenticity, and growth in every therapeutic journey.

    Driven by a passion for positive psychology, Taylor draws inspiration from works like "The Resilience Project" by Hugh van Cuylenburg, emphasizing the transformative power of mindfulness, gratitude, and empathy in fostering happiness and well-being. Under the mentorship of Dr. Carol McGinnis, Taylor developed a profound appreciation for the intersection of spirituality and mental health, recognizing its significance in helping individuals discover deeper insights into themselves.

    Outside of therapy, Taylor finds solace in artistic expression through painting, deriving joy from the spontaneous and intuitive process of creating. Avid reading and baking enthusiast, Taylor sees these activities as not only hobbies but also as forms of self-expression and acts of love for friends and family.
